My name is Erin Mincks I am owner and founder of Faerie Organic. I am a full time artist/makeup artist.
I started Faerie Organic in early 2007 after finally giving in to the thought of promoting and selling my all natural products
that I have been making for friends and family. I consider myself to be a kitchen chemist using Organic/natural/wildcrafted
herbs and tinctures to create my healing products. I feel in todays society we have gotten so far away from nature, from cell
phones, internet, extensive work schedules etc. that we are heading in a scary direction of becoming a very stressed
and very synthetic society. We have to get back to nature! I personally had a very scary experience
many years ago when I was put on a synthetic medication that gave me horrific side effects, I was a mess! I started doing
heavy research into natural/alternative medicines and found an equivalent to what they had given me only it was made of natural
herbs. I had no side effects and it also helped other issues I had been having. I had never felt that good! This was
my awakening that mother nature is our friend and God put these plants and herbs on earth for us to use to help heal ourselves.
I am now outraged when I read product labels and see what they are allowed to put into our products. There isn't any real
FDA regulation on cosmetics, so they are not protecting you from harm like you may think. Many well known *large cosmetic companies
use chemicals that contain lead, release formaldehyde, and can cause cancers later in life. Cancer is becoming an epidemic,
1 in 4 will get cancer. I refuse to be a customer of this industry and instead choose to use my own healing products
